Not amazing, but not too bad for the price
All in all, they're not a super historically accurate pair of repro shorts. Not great quality, but that's what I expected at this price. Still fairly comfortable, and close enough to accurate for me to like them when I'm doing activities that require the comfort and mobility of stretchy fabric. Not sure if I'll buy more.Pros:-I ordered navy and the color is as expected.-I like the rise--these shorts come all the way up to my natural waist (the narrowest part, just below my ribs) and that's very hard to find these days.-The stretch is comfortable and it's nice to find something in a vintage style that's stretchy, for those days or activities when stretch is more functional.-Though they're stretchy, they don't show the hemline of my blouse when it's tucked in.-Side zipperCons:-I ordered a size small because my waist is about 26" and my hips are about 37". I need to take the waist in about an inch. This is common for me, but still annoying when the size chart says a small will for a 26" waist.-The legs are a little tighter than I normally like. They don't squeeze too much, but they do hug my thighs, which isn't the most comfortable or flattering on me. It's also a little more pin-up ish than I usually prefer. I like the more modest 50's styles better.-No pockets.-The fabric isn't great quality, but at least it's not scratchy or anything.-I don't know that the seams halfway between the crotch and side seams are accurate to the 50's... I don't know that they're not, but I've never seen it in old ads or photos. This of course doesn't matter if you're not looking for accurate repro shorts.-They arrived with four snags on the back/side area. I was able to pull the snags through to the back, but they shouldn't arrive already having them.I read one review that said these shorts stained a load of laundry in the wash, and stained a white top while wearing the top tucked in. I haven't washed them yet, but the first wash will likely be a hand wash, by themselves, possibly even soaking them in salt water to help set the dye. I haven't had any dye come off on my hands, so I have no indication that they'll stain a top from wearing it, but I haven't worn them around yet.

Pros:
-I ordered navy and the color is as expected.
