Adventureland and Critter Country there's a little corner of New Orleans.
New Orleans Square incorporates many of the distinctive architectural
features of the French Quarter: narrow side streets with small
shops, fountains in quiet courtyards, and rows of colorful townhouses
with their lacy wrought iron railings. Hanging flower baskets or Mardi
Gras beads decorate many of the railings in this picturesque area. of the Caribbean - Yo ho, yo ho...On this boat ride audio-animatronic
pirates pillage and sing and swashbuckle their way around the Caribbean. On nights when Fantasmic! is running, the New Orleans Square area gets quite crowded, and when Fantasmic! is over it's difficult to even move. If you want

The area now occupied by the Disney Gallery was originally intended to be a private apartment for the Disney family, much larger than the one above the Main Street Fire Station. The Frontierland railroad station was re-themed and renamed when New Orleans Square opened. The sound of the telegraph heard at the train station is a portion of Walt Disney's speech on Disneyland's opening day - in Morse code. Disneyland's steam trains sometimes have a longer stop at the New Orleans Square Station since that's where they refill them with water.
