Cruise Line Plans New Summer Activities LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- With school coming to a close for the year and summer vacation plans in full-gear, guests who choose to spend summer vacations aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will find a variety of new age-specific programs onboard the line designed for family cruising. Nearly an entire deck of dedicated children's programming areas and more than 40 counselors on each ship allow Disney Cruise Line to offer kids areas that are simply unsurpassed at sea. New for 2002 are more than 15 age-specific programs and activities added to the popular children's programming adventures, including: The
Main Event (all ages): This kickoff party for children's programming
introduces families to all the counselors, creates excitement and awareness
of the cruise events for children and has a special introduction to
the team mascots, Minnie and Goofy, as they get everyone ready for a

Into Imagination with Figment
SHOCKWAVE
Debuts at Epcot June 15; LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- From the creator of the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit Blast! comes SHOCKWAVE. Last year, critics hailed Blast! as "rhythmically intoxicating" with "sound and motion from front to finish" and this year SHOCKWAVE promises to bring an all-new combination of raw power and musical pageantry to Epcot from June 15 through Aug. 24. The show will include rock tunes, contemporary jazz and world music. This dazzling performance of 40 performers is filled with sights, sounds and boundless energy -- all included in Epcot admission. Daily showtimes are 4:30, 5:45, 7:10 and 8:15 p.m.
Young Golfers Learn Skills at 2002 Coca-Cola/Tiger Woods Foundation Junior Golf Clinic
The three-day junior clinic at Disney's Magnolia course driving range will include instruction from PGA Tour teaching professionals, while the exhibition will feature trivia and entertainment, followed by a question-and-answer session and a golf demonstration by Tiger Woods himself at Disney's Palm course driving range on June 18. The demonstration will be open to the entire group of junior golfers, along with more than 1,000 children from central Florida community organizations. ********** National Kidney Foundation's 2002 U.S. Transplant Games Feature More Than 2,000 Transplant Recipients in Olympic-Style Events
Celebrities and other special guests will participate in this year's Games including Olympic bronze medalist and liver transplant recipient Chris Klug, and former NBA stars Sean Elliott and Oscar Robertson who will host a workshop. Actor Ken Howard, who played the basketball coach/teacher in the popular 1970s television show "The White Shadow," is also expected to participate in the Games. In addition to the athletic competition, the Transplant Games feature four days of special workshops for donor families and a National Kidney Foundation 5K Road Race at Epcot.
