Disney Cruise Line Plans New Summer Activities
For Children and Teens

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- With school coming to a close for the year and summer vacation plans in full-gear, guests who choose to spend summer vacations aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will find a variety of new age-specific programs onboard the line designed for family cruising.

Nearly an entire deck of dedicated children's programming areas and more than 40 counselors on each ship allow Disney Cruise Line to offer kids areas that are simply unsurpassed at sea.

New for 2002 are more than 15 age-specific programs and activities added to the popular children's programming adventures, including:

The Main Event (all ages): This kickoff party for children's programming introduces families to all the counselors, creates excitement and awareness of the cruise events for children and has a special introduction to the team mascots, Minnie and Goofy, as they get everyone ready for a great cruise.
Splish and Splash Party (ages10-12): This age group enjoys a private evening pool party at the ships' famous Mickey Pool. Gotcha! (teens): Strategy, deception and intrigue challenge the teens through a daylong game of elimination.
