Closures & Refurbishments for Walt Disney World

Details: Country Bear Jamboree will CLOSE on January 27th, 2024, for the refurbishment. Disney announced that the new show should open Summer 2024.

Details: Splash Mountain will close on January 24th, 2023 to reopen as the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure in summer 2024.

Details: The Fantasia Pool at All-Star Movies Resort will be closed from January 2024 through April 2024.

Details: 350 Cabins at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds will be completely renovated and adopted into the Disney Vacation Club offerings.

Details: While the Resort remains open to guests, areas are currently being renovated to include new Disney Vacation Club Villas, restaurants, and even new recreation offerings! The Disney Vacation Club Villas are expected to open in late 2024.

Details: From May 2024 through November 2024, some Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be under refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction work during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available.
