Introduction

The Simpson Ride, a motion simulator, is located at the far corner of Universal Studios in the World Expo Section.  This new attraction will be one of the most popular draws when it premiers in early 2008.  Based on the Emmy-awarding animated series, The Simpsons, and its many zany characters.

Attraction

Universal has provided this information about the upcoming Simpsons Ride.

The Simpsons are visiting fabulous Krustyland, Krusty The Clown's Krusty-themed theme park that Krusty guarantees* is not a shameless rip-off of other, better theme parks in Florida and California.

Line up along side Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, then enter through Krustyland's carnival midway, where you will come face to face with Apu, Patty, Selma, Groundskeepers Willie, and other favorite Simpsons characters manning the classic carny booths including the Milk Bottle Toss Game, the Snack Stand and Lost and Found.

Once you board your ride vehicle, get ready to do what was once thought to be physically impossible: scream and laugh at the same time. It's one hilarious suprise after another as your swept away with the Simpsons on a wild ride through Krustyland....flying, bumping, floating and crashing your way through Krusty's thrilltacular attractions.

The ride features all new animation staring the voices of the show's Emmy-award winning original cast projected on to a towering 80 foot dome. The ride vehicles tilt, pitch, dip and twist with all the madcap action on the screen.

*Krusty's guarantee is neither legally binding nor uttered in good-faith.

Touring Tips

The Simpsons Ride will be an Universal Express Attraction.

This attraction has a child swap area for adults that want to experience the attraction.

Minimum height: 40 inches. Children between 40 inches and 48 inches must be accompanied by an adult.

Wheelchair or Electric Convenience Vehicle guests must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle. Not recommended for: expectant mothers, or those with a history of neck or back conditions, heart trouble, conditions aggravated by fog or strobe effects or susceptible to motion sickness.

Places to Eat

International Food and Film Festival - Serving American, Asian and Italian Food. The nice thing about this food court-style restaurant is everyone can make their food choices and pay for all items at the same time, unlike the Comic Strip Cafe in Islands of Adventure where each section requires you to go though a separate cashier. Classic movies are shown on TVs in the dining area.

International Food and Film Ice Cream - A walk-up window located outside the main restaurant. Great for soft serve ice cream, waffle cones and Sundaes.

Krustyland Dogs - Great for a quick snack.
