Brace yourself. I’m going to say something scary. Ready? Theme park breakfast. AAAAH! *Lightning strike*Â
I know, I know. It’s a scary concept! Lukewarm sausage biscuits aren’t really my thing, either. That’s why it’s such a surprise that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando has such amazing breakfast!
I actually discovered this while filming a video where I ate every single thing in Harry Potter World and you can check that out right here!
Now, let me explain my shock about the breakfast. You can get breakfast at either Leaky Cauldron in Universal Studios…
…or Three Broomsticks in Islands of Adventure.
For the video, we tried every single thing on the menus, and a few of the items really wowed us! The Traditional Breakfast is perhaps the most popular on both menus as it shows of something akin to what you might find if you were dining in England.
This super filling portion has surprisingly good scrambled eggs, some of the best sausage you can find in a theme park (it has a great snap!), breakfast potatoes that are to die for, and English staples like beans and baked tomato.
Now, I have heard from English visitors to Harry Potter World that this breakfast doesn’t hold a candle to what they eat back home and having just visited London, I can certainly agree. However, it is a close approximation and by Orlando theme park quick service standard… it’s an unbelievable option!
You might notice that a few of the options feature the sausage and potatoes and these are certainly stand out portions no matter which breakfast you choose.
But we also need to talk pancakes! I didn’t think I’d find myself saying that Wizarding World pancakes are some of the best around, but they’re weirdly very good. They’re fluffy and light while still soaking up the syrup for the perfect bite.
It can be tricky to get breakfast in a theme park because the cut off is typically early and those first few hours of the park day often have the shortest ride lines. But, if you can make time, the Wizarding World has some real winners.
