Complete Guide to Character Meals at Universal Orlando

Disney World isn’t the only Orlando theme park where you can dine alongside fan-favorite characters!

Universal Orlando

Yep, among all the thrills and immersive experiences at Universal Orlando are character meals. While it’s true that Universal doesn’t have nearly as many character dining experiences at Disney World, there are a couple fun ones. This post will serve as your guide to those experiences!

Currently, there are two character dining experiences at Universal Orlando: the Marvel Character Dinner and meals at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. Let’s talk about them!

Marvel Character Dinner

This character dinner at Cafe 4 is served buffet-style and includes one nonalcoholic beverage of choice and one free photo download. Children 9 and under can dine for $29.99 plus tax, while those 10 and up can dine for $52.99 plus tax. Advance reservations are required here, so make sure to keep that in mind if you’re planning on visiting.

Characters you’ll be able to see include Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and Rogue. Characters will interact with you as you eat, and there will even be photographers available so that you can document the whole experience.

Dining at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen

Toothsome is home to a full service restaurant, bar, and confectionery where the theming is devoted to one sweet treat in particular: chocolate! You can indulge in dinner followed by a dessert of gourmet chocolate, milkshakes, and sundaes.

The servers and hostesses here are all dressed to the theming of a fantastical, 19th-century emporium — which makes the experience truly immersive! You’ll be able to see Professor Doctor Penelope Tibeaux-Tinker Toothsome and Jacque — shown above! You can attempt to get a walk-up reservation, but this restaurant is always so busy that we recommend making one in advance.

As of right now, these are the only character dining experiences available, but they do make for memorable experiences. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Universal and theme park news, so make sure to follow along for more so that you don’t miss a thing.
