FIRST LOOK at a Brand NEW Character Coming to Disney World!

We’ve been hearing a LOT of Disney World character updates lately. Figment, the iconic purple dragon, arrived in EPCOT. Moana is joining EPCOT later this year. Oh, and a NEW Disney character will soon make her way to Disney World, too!

During the Destination D23 event at Disney World, we learned that Asha, the main character in Disney’s Wish movie, will be coming to EPCOT! In fact, Asha will make her way to Disney World, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.

On the final day of the Destination D23 event, we got our FIRST look at Asha!

As a reminder, Asha is described as a smart, optimistic 17-year-old girl who ends up on a magical adventure with Valentino, her goat, and Star (a real star!). The movie, Wish, will hit theaters on November 22nd.

The movie will follow Asha and her sidekick, who live in  Rosas, the kingdom of wishes. After Asha’s wishing star comes down from the sky, she gets more than she originally bargained for. We can’t wait to see the movie!

Disney hasn’t announced exactly when Asha will join EPCOT, but at least we have an idea what she looks like now! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
