CONFIRMED: TRON Lightcycle / Run Will Use Standby Line During Magic Kingdom After Hours

Good news for all you night owls out there — After Hours events are returning to Disney World.

It’s time!

Disney announced that these specially ticketed events will be back at EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom in 2024 and we can’t wait to experience all they have to offer. And, we’ve got a major update about just what we can expect from one ride in Magic Kingdom!

TRON: Lightcycle Run will use a standby queue during Magic Kingdom After Hours when the event returns in 2024.

SO cool at night

This is the first time we’ve seen a standby queue for the new ride. Typically, you have to either try to snag a spot in the Virtual Queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane to guarantee a ride. But, if you’re going to After Hours at Magic Kingdom — you won’t have to worry about that at all!

After Hours is back

After Hours are ticketed events that take place after regular Disney park hours and one of the best parts is the low wait times that often allow you to walk right on to your favorite rides and attractions.

Check-in

Hollywood Studios will be the first park to see the return of After Hours on January 10th, followed by Magic Kingdom on January 11th and EPCOT on February 2nd. During these extra ticketed events, you can enjoy complimentary snacks, low crowds, and of course, several of your favorite rides and attractions.
