REVIEW: We Tried a FOOT-LONG Mozzarella Stick at Tony’s Town Square in Magic Kingdom😮

Happy holidays from Tony’s Town Square in Magic Kingdom! You might be wondering what we’re doing at an Italian restaurant on this fine winter afternoon, but trust us, we’re here for a VERY good reason.

Tony’s Town Square

Tony’s Town Square recently got a few new menu items, and as Disney food experts, we make it our mission to pass along our thoughts on all the new Disney eats to YOU! So, are you ready to see what’s up at Tony’s? You might be surprised!

Tony’s Town Square has a Fried Mozzarella with spicy, creamy tomato sauce on the menu for $15. But wanna know what makes it special? It’s HUGE!

These aren’t any old mozzarella sticks. They’re a foot long! Plus, they come in a spicy — and we mean SPICY — tomato sauce. According to our server, you can get a non-spicy sauce instead or ask for that sauce on the side if you are heat-averse.

Fried Mozzarella

These things were DELICIOUS! They are suuuuuuuper cheesy, just the way we like our Fried Mozzarella. If you want a warm, comforting stick of cheese during your day in Magic Kingdom, give these a try!

Yummmmm

We also ordered Tony’s Garlic Bread For The Table, which is toasted ciabatta with roasted garlic-butter and parmesan fonduta for $13.

Pre-fondue

Of course, we had to pour that parmesan fonduta on top of our stack of bread. The cheese oozed all down the cracks and crevices of our bread; it was super satisfying to watch. We ended up LOVING this appetizer. It’s crunchy, has a nice garlic flavor, and comes with some great parmesan fondue. Need we say more?

With CHEESE!

On to the main course! We tried the new Tortellini al Forno — Calabrian chili and cheese tortellini baked Italian sausage, onions, peppers, and mozzarella in a creamy tomato sauce for $28. Beware! This one is spicy, too! We found ourselves reaching for a drink pretty often as we ate our pasta.

Tortellini al Forno

Wow, did Tony’s Town Square redeem itself from the mediocre reputation it has earned? When you give us a plate of fried cheese, garlic bread, and pasta, we simply can’t complain. Now that’s a redemption! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
