5 NEW Stores Added to Disney Springs in 2023

It’s been a busy year for Disney Springs!

Views at Disney Springs!

A Disney mecca for shopping, dining, and entertainment, Disney Springs in Disney World has undergone quite a change over the years with even more change on the horizon. In fact, 2023 saw Disney Springs updated with several new stores and a few teases for what could be arriving in the coming months!

This year, Disney Springs opened up five new stores, with two more coming soon. Let’s take a look!

Disney Springs’ latest offering is Rothy’s, an accessories outlet that offers mostly shoes and bags made from recycled plastic bottles and other materials. The store opened very recently and can be found between the Vera Bradley store and Sugarboo.

Bowes Signature Candles

Another fall 2023 opening included Bowes Signature Candles. The Orlando-based company opened in late October and was placed in a newly refurbished location on the West Side of Disney Springs where Sosa Family Cigars used to be. This shop makes soy-infused candles, wax melts, room sprays, diffusers, gift sets, and all kinds of scents, including Disney-inspired scents. They even offer a DIY candle-making experience for $25 per candle!

Little Words Project Pop-Up Shop

This pop-up shop also appeared in late October 2023 but is a temporary shop. The Little Words Project pop-up shop can be found on the West Side of Disney Springs in a “Kindness Caravan” that takes the message of self-love and kindness on the road. This company specializes in beaded word bracelets with unique ID tags that connect to Little Word Project’s “Nice Nation” online community. If you want to get in on these kindness bracelets, you better act fast as the pop-up shop will leave Disney Springs after January 1st, 2024.

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post

In August, the Marketplace Co-Op underwent a small transformation and replaced the old Marvel display with Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post. The shop is themed around Frozen and features an assortment of discounted Disney apparel, along with a plethora of Frozen-inspired decorations. If anything, this shop is worth a visit for the theming and details alone.

Corkcicle

In the spring, Corkcicle opened a new merchandise stand right outside of Paddlefish in Disney Springs. For those unfamiliar with the brand, Corkcicle sells a variety of tumblers and insulated drinkware and, despite its size, this small booth sells A TON of great Corkcicle items. Check it out on your next Disney Springs visit!

Summer House on the Lake

A few new restaurants should be nearing an opening date. Summer House on the Lake was supposed to open this year and could still possibly reach that expectation, despite us nearing the end of the year. Regardless, recent progress on the restaurant’s construction indicates it is nearly ready to open.

The sign is here!

Similarly, eet by Maneet Chauhan has had its exterior come a long way and even features a message from Chef Maneet on the outside of the building, as well as a menu. We’ll let you know all the latest updates on eet and Summer House on the Lake as soon as we get them!
