Christmas Day Crowds Are HERE at Disney World

The team here at AllEars wants to wish a Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!

We’ve been in the parks every day leading up to Christmas, keeping an eye out for holiday merch, holiday snacks, and continuing to be in awe over the holiday decorations. We have also been keeping a close eye on the crowds since Christmas can be one of the busiest days of the year at Disney World. We know you’re curious, so let’s take a look at what the crowds are looking like today!

We have people in Magic Kingdom today enjoying the ambiance of Christmas in the most magical place on earth.

Merry Christmas!

Crowds getting into the TTC weren’t too bad…

…and then we didn’t wait too long for the Monorail either. It was a pleasant surprise!

Before we knew it, we were in the park and walking down Main Street U.S.A.!

While the crowds weren’t too bad, the Starbucks line was pretty insane.

While walking through the park this morning, we noticed that crowds were heavy, but not overly so. It is cloudy and rainy today, so that could be part of the reason the crowds weren’t streaming in this morning. In fact, it’s so rainy that the noon Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade was unfortunately canceled! Instead, we got to see the Rainy Day Cavalcade.

We did get to see Santa though, which was a big highlight!

It’s Santa!

After the cavalcade, the rain began to die down, so we’re hoping the 3PM parade will continue as planned. Meanwhile though, wait times are decently high, but not too terrible for being one of the (typical) busiest days of the year.

We know that it’s a holiday, so we were prepared for anything when it comes to crowd levels. If you’re visiting the parks between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, you may notice heavier crowds, so keep that in mind!
