5 MAJOR Halloween Announcements We’re Expecting Disney To Make SOON

It might still be spring, but we’re already looking forward to fall.

It’s National Pumpkin Day!

Do you blame us? Fall is an AMAZING time to be in Disney World. Spooky season arrives in August, and with that comes loads of new snacks (pumpkin spice EVERYTHING), Halloween decor in Magic Kingdom, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Well, like we said — it’s spring, but this is usually about the time we start getting TONS of big Halloween announcements!

So here are the announcements we think Disney will make soon about Halloween in Disney World. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see, but based on what we’ve seen in years past, this is what we’re thinking.

Audition Notices

One of the FIRST clues we get about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party comes when Disney posts auditions for performers for Mickey’s Boo-To-You parade. Sometimes, those audition notices will clue us in on returning entertainment to the parade, but other times they can let us know about NEW additions to the parade.

We usually start seeing those posted in early April, so we’ll let you know if we spot any!

Dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Usually around mid-to-late April, Disney confirms that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is returning for the year. This announcement usually includes the party dates.

This announcement will also typically confirm everything returning to the event, as well as a mention or two of NEW party activities, events, or happenings. We can’t wait to hear about what’s in store for this year!

Ticket Details for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Around the same time, Disney also releases details about tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We generally get ticket prices and dates for when tickets go on sale. Those tickets can be POPULAR, so make sure to mark your calendars as soon as the 2024 dates are released!

Ride details during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We’re also approaching the time of year when we get details about how certain rides will work during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Rides like TRON Lightcycle / Run that don’t have a standby line generally use a virtual queue system for the parties. Disney usually confirms this when it announces the party dates or shortly after.

We expect that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will use something similar during this year’s Halloween parties. We generally learn about all the rides that will be open during the parties, too.

Snacks

Disney also often hosts a “Halfway to Halloween” event where it brings some of its Halloween treats into the parks EARLY so you can try them out. We usually get a foodie guide so that we know what to expect before the fall season begins.

Halloween popcorn mix

Disney even releases some Halloween collectibles in April, like sippers and popcorn buckets during this time, so you can grab them BEFORE Halloween!

We’ll let you know when Disney makes these announcements, so check back with AllEars again soon for more!
