EPCOT is home to some pretty awesome meet and greets, including Figment in the Imagination Pavilion!
Other characters you can in EPCOT are Moana, Jasmine, Elsa, and more! But one character was announced to be leaving EPCOT to make her way over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. What wasn’t announced was the exact day she would disappear from EPCOT, but we have just found out!
We have been able to meet Joy from Inside Out in the Imagination Pavilion, but we’ve known that she’s set to move to Pixar Plaza in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 10th for a little while now. But when Disney announced the move, they didn’t announce what day she would be leaving EPCOT.
Well, the other day, while we were in EPCOT, a Cast Member who was hanging out with Joy in the Imagination Pavilion told us that she would be leaving VERY soon. So when we went to check out if Joy was meeting in EPCOT today, May 12th, we noticed her page doesn’t show up on the My Disney Experience App AT ALL! She’s not showing up in EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.
This may mean that Joy might not be meeting guests at all until June 10th, when she’s in her new spot in Hollywood Studios. If you’re in EPCOT over the next month or so, keep your eyes out in case she does make a surprise appearance!
We’ll miss her while she’s gone, but we can’t wait to see her in the new spot! You know we’ll update you the moment she arrives, so stay tuned to AllEars!

The Joy meet and greet has not shown up in MDE for weeks now. Neither does Figment or Mickey and Minnie.
Hi Heather! We were alerted to Joy’s meet and greet not showing up in MDE so we had been keeping an eye on whether or not she was actually there nearly every day and she has been until yesterday when we stopped by to check.
