NEWS: The BEST Part of EPCOT’s Moana Attraction Has Reopened After a Sudden Closure

EPCOT’s newest attraction is a breath of fresh air — even though it’s all about water.

Journey of Water

Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana is an immersive, walkthrough attraction that incorporates characters and more from Moana while also teaching folks about the water cycle. One of the best parts of Journey of Water — the finale — was unexpectedly closed recently, and now we have an update!

Disney Vacation Planner

Journey of Water is a relaxing, interactive attraction that teaches people about the water cycle, and it all culminates in a finale dubbed the ocean scene, where you can team up with others to make a big wave. It’s one of our favorite parts — but last week we noticed it was blocked off!

Blocked off

Cast Members said this area needed a bit of maintenance, but we’re happy to share that the ocean scene has reopened once again.

It’s open!

Now you can get your group together — or make some new friends — and check out this incredible feature since it’s back open.

Not to mention that there is plenty to explore inside Journey of Water! You can grow streams of water with your hand, play a water harp, and more, so give it a go on your next EPCOT visit.

Playing with the interactive elements
