Happy Halloween, AllEars readers! Disney World celebrations for the holiday are in full swing, but things are about to kick it up a notch.
We’ve seen Halloween decorations all around the parks for the past few months, as well as going to the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but the celebration isn’t over yet. There’s one parade most people don’t know about that we couldn’t miss!
Over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, every Halloween they host a golf cart parade. Not just any golf cart parade though — these golf carts are fully decked out in Halloween costumes!
Guests take their decorating very seriously and Halloween is their biggest event.
It’s held in the Meadow area where the longest stretch of road is located, and has been going on for 13 years.
Participants can sign up about a week before the parade in person and get a number at the Bike Barn.
Folks are judged on creativity and finalists are later displayed at the Beach Bash, judges folks choose the winner.
There were so many incredible golf cart designs we got to see, and if this sounds like something right up your alley — maybe you’ll need to sign up for next year’s event!
We love seeing how creative everyone gets, so we stop by every year. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
