Job: Freelance writer and Mom, not necessarily in that order.
Favorite
WDW memory: The first time my son, then 4, saw Spectromagic
and shouted, "Mommy, look at the peacock! Mommy, look at the
fish!"
Favorite
WDW spot to rest: Rest? Who rests when they're at Disney World?
I want to see it all, do it all -- No rest for this park commando!
Insider Tip: If you're staying at a Disney resort, be sure
to remember to get a Mickey wake-up call. There's nothing
like hearing Mickey commanding you to get "Up and at'em, pal!"
to start your day off right.

Favorite WDW memory: There are far too many to list! Every
trip has a favorite memory attached.
Favorite
WDW spot to people-watch: A bench on the outside of the Hub
when it's closing time at the Magic Kingdom. It always amazes me
how long it takes to empty the park.
Favorite WDW romantic spot: The beach at the Beach Club.
At night, it's lovely to sit in the swing with your bare feet in
the cool sand and watch the lights of the BoardWalk twinkle across
Crescent Lake.
Insider Tip: Don't try to do everything in one trip. It's
like trying to taste every dish at a buffet -- you can't savor the
wonderful flavors, textures and aromas, and you'll feel yucky later!
"Must
Do" do on every trip: Wishes! I can't get enough of this
wonderful fireworks show. I try to watch it every night during a
visit.

WDW Memory: The last day of our first trip with our two sons.
We watched IllumiNations then waited for the crowds to clear and
took a very slow walk back to the bus stop. It was a perfect night
and the end to a perfect vacation. Watching IllumiNations always
brings back the memory of that magical moment.
Favorite
WDW Location: Going under the railroad track at the Magic Kingdom
and stepping onto Main Street. All the worries of the world disappear
there!
Photography
Tips: Don't hesitate to ask a cast member or another guest to
snap a photo of you and your party. There's nothing like coming
home with no photos that include the family photographer.
-Get
up close. A picture of Expedition Everest is great but even better
is a close up of your kids' faces after their first ride with Everest
as the background.

"Day" Job: We
have no idea and he's not saying!
Favorite WDW Theme Park at Night: Magic Kingdom
A
Floridian who's been visiting Walt Disney World since he was a kid
(well, a younger kid than he is now!), Kenny can often be
found in and around the Orlando theme parks. He has a keen interest
in, and a terrific memory for, the details that make up the Disney
parks. We like to think of him as a walking Walt Disney World Encyclopedia,
and, as he notes, if he doesn't know something about WDW, he knows
where to find the answer.

Job: Sales Rep for a manufacturer/distributor of industrial
maintenance supplies.
Favorite WDW Memory: There are so many and hopefully many
more to come, but I would say my first visit to Epcot with my Dad.
We tried to see and do everything the park had to offer. When we
finally stopped to claim a viewing spot for the closing fireworks,
we were so tired that we left without seeing them. It would be 13
years later before I would step foot in Epcot again.
Favorite WDW Spot: Being on Main Street when it is decorated
for Christmas.
Insider Tip: Have a plan when you visit the "World",
but don't be so rigid that you can't change and roll with the flow.
Most of all, have fun!

Favorite
WDW memory: In 1998, we traveled to WDW with our best friends.
At Chef Mickey's, with a little "help" from our server,
Chip recognized 7-year-old Cara from a trip two years before, and
wrote, "I missed you, Cara!" in her autograph book. I'll
always remember the astonished look on her face!
Favorite WDW spot: Oh, most definitely my balcony at the
Old Key West Resort!
Favorite
WDW romantic spot: Sitting on a pontoon boat, glass of wine
in hand, watching IllumiNations with my wonderful husband (who probably
paid for it all).
Photography
Tip: Always have those cameras ready -- there are so many unique
photo opportunities at WDW! Twenty years from now, the picture of
little Sarah dancing the Watusi with Goofy is going to be much more
interesting than those with everyone smiling pretty in front of
the castle!

WDW Memory: Running in the 2005 WDW Half Marathon, especially
running through Cinderella Castle and around World Showcase!
Favorite
WDW spot: After IlumiNations, sitting on the edge of a planter
along the walkway between Future World and World Showcase watching
Epcot's Lights of Winter.
Favorite
WDW restaurant: Boma! Especially the dessert buffet.
Favorite
spot for IllumiNations: I think the best spot is behind the
UK's Fish and Chips shop, but this area is usually reserved for
private parties. My favorite guest-accessible area is along the
edge of the World Showcase Lagoon, straight out from the backstage
gate next to Germany.
Insider
tip: The WDW theme parks, especially Epcot, have LOTS of live
entertainment: street shows, stage shows, acrobats, rock bands,
and everything in between. Watching a show is a great opportunity
to slow down and relax for a few minutes. So take a look at the
daily Times Guide, and let the talented performers entertain you!

WDW Memory:At the end of our very first trip to Walt Disney
World, we left the Magic Kingdom via the ferry and everyone cried
because we had had such a wonderful time. The sight of the castle
getting smaller and smaller in the background was just too much
for all of us. We were so sad and so happy all at the same time.
Favorite
WDW spot to watch Wishes: Right in the middle of Main Street
near Casey's Corner.
Favorite
WDW romantic spot: On the beach at the Beach Club at night,
sitting in one of the swings.

the holiday decorations are up.

WDW memory: The first (and only) time I got my chicken daughter

Things
from WDW's past I miss the most: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (Magic

Things
from WDW's past I miss the least: Mission to Mars (Magic Kingdom)
and the second incarnation of Journey Into Imagination (Epcot).

WDW romantic spot: Wherever I am with my wife.

Disney is the best one to purchase your tickets from.

Memory: Ive got two, so bear with me:
My older brother and I, when we were kids, dashing through the
Plaza Pavilion the moment they lifted the ropes to open the park
so we could be the first ones at Space Mountain.
Our last ride at WDW in 2003, just as Animal Kingdom was closing,
my girlfriend and I got our own private Kilimanjaro Safari. It
was incredible.
Insider
Tip: Even when you're in a mad rush to get from one attraction
to another, make the effort to look around; if all you see is the
theming, WDW is a feast for the eyes, but this way you'll also catch
a lot of incredible attractions that don't make the big marquee,
like the acrobats at the China pavilion or Devine at Animal Kingdom.

WDW memory: There are many -- mostly I want to go back and make
more!
Insider Tip: It cannot be said too often, if you want to ride
the most popular attractions get to the parks before they open and
ride the most popular rides in those first two hours the parks are
open. Still have some left after that? That's when you use FASTPASS.
Close second -- never go to the Magic Kingdom on a Saturday unless
you love crowds!

Memory: Bringing my Dad on his first trip to WDW - for his 70th
birthday! At the end of a special birthday dinner at Victoria and
Albert's, he looked me in the eye and said, "Amy, if I live
to be 100, I will NEVER forget this birthday."
Favorite
spot to rest: Rest at WDW? Nah, no usually. I save that for
a relaxing moment on my verandah on a DCL cruise!
Favorite
spot for Wishes or Illuminations: Anywhere there's a tissue
handy. Combining music, pyrotechnics, and the magic of being at
Disney, is the recipe for an instant tissue issue...everytime.
Insider
tip: While at first glance, food prices at WDW can seem to be
a budget-buster, their portions are notoriously large - even at
many counter service restaurants. Trim your budget by splitting
an entree between two people, or making a meal of an appetizer if
you're traveling solo. If you tell your servers that you're sharing,
they will often bring the entree to your table already served on
two plates.
