I was physically assaulted by the cockroaches/termites in the bench. I left the room wide awake but feeling as though 5 years had been taken off of my life. Genuinely do not know how children are brought to this ride. I saw a family of four run out of the theater crying when they gassed us. Horrifying…
Pros:
Keeps the kids in line-made me wide awakeCons:
Violated by bug, stabbed, gassed, sprayed with water, and absolutely terrifyingReviewed by DisneyGirlMelissa Review Date: 02/19/2024

I love this show and am so sad its being replaced. I'm glad I got to ride it one last time since it closed unexpectedly in DL and missed it their. My only complaint with it is the very end when the bugs crawl under your butt! I will usually scootch all the way forward on my seat at that point cause I cant stand that feeling!
Pros:
fun 4D educationalCons:

It’s Tough to be a Bug is……nice.
There is nothing inherently wrong with this 3D show overall. It’s is largely fun and humorous, utilizes some fun audience gags, and a really great closing/title song.
However, this show has not aged super well in a few ways.
Firstly, the 3D really needs a refresh. Some of the gags are cute, but hampered by less 3D that looks old and 3D gags that are well-worn.
Additionally, the Bug’s Life IP is quite old at this point. The movie did decently at the time of its release, and still holds up as a good movie today, but it not having a sequel since it’s 1998 release has done it no favors. I think that changing to a more popular IP for this location (I would argue that there are plenty) would provide an opportunity for it to truly shine. The nice thing about this attraction is that it is inside the street of Life and so you get to see all the animal carvings on your way in and around, which is cool.
Pros:
Fun show Cool location in Tree of LifeCons:

Loved this show! It was short but very cute! A Bug's Life is one of my favorite Pixar movies, so I loved seeing my favorite characters. Despite what other reviewers and what Molly often says in her videos, when we saw the show the theater was packed and there were lots of very small children present. Not one freaked out during the show. Everyone was laughing and having a good time. Maybe our show was is the exception to the rule, but I thought it was a great show for little kids and families. It was fun being able to get a close look at the tree of life before and after the show.
Pros:
Fun immersive showCons:

This is a fun show personally. I'm a little bit of a prankster and this is a fantastic way to play a little prank on someone in your party who has never been before. That being said, This ride really has some uncomfortable moments and there are times that it is 100% not enjoyable or fun. This can also be scary and not just for kids but adults too. My spouse hated it and I have never heard so many screaming kids in my life. Make sure to watch a video of the attraction before deciding if it is good for your family or not and if you have littles this is probably not going to be to their liking.
Pros:
It's a bug's life themed, A/CCons:
Not restful like most shows, super intense and can be scary for both kids and adultsReviewed by SondheimGod Review Date: 08/30/2021

This is a neat experience but not a must do. The Hopper animatronic alone is an incredible feat and worth the wait to see at least once. That said, it is dark. It is loud. It is VERY sensory driven. Do not bring small children. I have never once gone to this show and not had a screaming child run out during the spiders.
