The Most Unique Souvenirs You Can Get at Walt Disney World!

Spirit jerseys and Minnie ears, as cute as they are, are a dime a dozen in the shops of Walt Disney World (and online at ShopDisney.com)! Thankfully there are shops at Disney World where you can easily score more unusual souvenirs that will make all your friends super jealous (oh, yeah: and bring you joy for years to come).

Looking for a gift shop that sells certain items you can ONLY find in that one store? Look no further than EPCOT’s World Showcase!

World Showcase is a treasure trove of unique merchandise. Each pavilion has a collection of souvenirs unique to those countries that you definitely won’t find at World of Disney. Here’s a highlight of our favorite countries to shop in!

Norway

Next time you’re in the Norway pavilion, you HAVE to check out The Fjording. This shop has the pavilion’s favorite troll (which is a required photo op, otherwise were you really in EPCOT?). You can also shop for some awesome Norwegian imports and brands, including Helly Hansen and Laila!

You want a picture — you know you do.

Germany

There is a ton of unique merchandise in the Germany pavilion! Starting off with those cute Pickle Ornaments! If you don’t have a Pickle Ornament yet, where have you been? This is a long-standing tradition to place an ornament of a pickle in your Christmas tree. The trick is to make the pickle hard to spot, so that whoever is the first to find it receives an extra gift and good luck for the year!

Another fun souvenir you can find ONLY in the Germany pavilion are cuckoo clocks! That’s right, you can purchase a REAL, authentic cuckoo clock. We aren’t exactly sure how that would get on the plane, but it would make for one interesting story!

Are you cuckoo for cuckoo clocks?

Japan

If we had an endless supply of funds to shop at Mitsukoshi in the Japan pavilion, we would be a bunch of happy campers. This is SUCH a unique store. You can buy tons of fun merch, from Pokemon plush to ceramic tea sets! One of our favorite things to shop for here are the specialty packaged Japanese snacks. AllEars Molly might not love ’em, but they’re a fun way to bring home some magic!

Italy

If you want to shop for more luxury products, head to Italy! The shop Il Bel Cristallo sells Murano glass, crystal, and luxury handbags. Next, stop by La Bottega Italiana for authentic Venetian masks!

United Kingdom

Make sure you stop by the United Kingdom Pavilion for this next item! You can look up your family coat of arms at The Crown & Crest, and then you can purchase it on a plaque! This is probably one of the FEW souvenirs that you can say not many other people have!

France

The France Pavilion is home to Plume et Palette, where you can shop for designer French handbags and luxury fragrances! Brands include Givenchy, Dior, Le Tanneur, and more! Next, head into La Signature for more fragrances and cosmetics — you can even take part in a makeup consultation here!

When it comes to shopping in World Showcase, you can easily spend an entire day browsing through the shelves of all the World Showcase pavilions. Shopping here is truly unique in that you’ll find authentic items from each of the countries available for sale. Want to find out some of the MOST authentic souvenirs in EACH country? 1. I absolutely love the store in Japan! Molly’s weird snack reminded me of how much I loved to get Pocky and Hello Pandas from there. I also love the China store and the shop in the UK where there’s all sorts of Doctor Who and Beatles/Queen merchandise.
