To start, let’s talk rain gear! Despite the rain and cloud coverage in the afternoons, it’ll still be pretty hot. Lightweight rain gear that will keep you dry without turning you into a walking sauna is key. We recommend a lightweight poncho or rain jacket, or simply just an umbrella if you want to ensure that you’ll stay cool. Oh, and don’t forget the waterproof shoes. That one’s important. No one likes soggy shoes!

Alright, now that the rainy day park necessities for May are out of the way, let’s talk FUN stuff. As many of you already know, Star Wars Day is celebrated each year in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May the 4th.

If you’re looking for cute but comfortable outfit inspiration, we’ve got you covered.  This comfy but chic Galaxy’s Edge outfit features bright colors, lightweight fabric, but all the classic Star Wars vibes.

If Star Wars isn’t your thing and you’re trying to dress in all the bright springtime colors, this is our guide to building a chic, brightly-colored outfit. You can never go wrong with lightweight skirts, dresses, and tees. We also recommend packing a lightweight layer in your park bag for when it gets chilly in the evenings. Oh, and don’t forget the aforementioned rain gear!
