4 Announcements We’re Expecting from Universal’s NEW Epic Universe Park

It’s time to brush off those magnifying glasses so we can all become armchair detectives.

Recently, Universal Orlando Resort released a cryptic new video that gave us… nothing. Well, except for a date. We’ve taken some time to watch the trailer repeatedly, and think about what it could mean. We’ve done some deep thinking, and we have a few ideas of what we can expect when they dish out the details.

We don’t think that this trailer is about all of their Orlando theme parks, we think it is about ONE — their NEWEST addition to Universal Orlando Resort, Epic Universe.

We have to say, this trailer did not give us much to work off of. However, we commend them for their decision because WOW are we invested. We came up with a list of what announcements we can expect from them on March 28th, so let’s talk about them!

UPDATE: Universal sent us some mystery mail and clued us into what this specific announcement will be about — the How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk land coming to Epic Universe! You can see more information in our post here.

Ride Updates

We’ve seen the park map for Epic Universe, however, we haven’t seen too much in terms of what rides we should be expecting to see. We may have gotten some names and concept art, however, we are hoping to see even concept art (or even construction updates 👀) for some of the bigger rides we are expecting to see at the park.

If we’re lucky, we’re hopeful that they’ll share a map that includes the rides that are coming to the park with the names of what they are. Being able to see the general layout of the land would be STELLAR!

Restaurant Announcements

Of course, we NEED to talk about food. We are hoping to see some updates about what restaurants we’ll be seeing at the park.

Whether it is learning general information about the food options, seeing more concept art, or even just the names of the restaurants we can expect to see — PLEASE give us something. We truly need to know everything… because we are excited and nosey.

Updates on the Lands

Epic Universe is going to be nothing short of… epic! There are TWO lands at the park where we feel like this trailer applies, so we’re hoping that this is the lead-up to some information on one or both of those lands.

The lands in question are Dark Universe and Celestial Park. This trailer is giving space and stars, so we have strong feelings about it being about Celestial Park. However, we have gotten quite a few announcements for this part of the park, so we got to thinking.

We feel like the imagery could also symbolize darkness taking over, which leads us to believe that it is possible to get some updates on Dark Universe. We truly can’t decide which idea we like more, but we’re hoping that we get something for both.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this announcement on X (formerly Twitter), and the Universal Studios Resort X account is in the comments and is somehow making it MORE cryptic. Don’t mind us, we’re reading too much into things.

Universal has been hyping up this announcement, so we’re going to sit tight, wait, and see what they choose to share. We’re expecting it to involve some of what was listed above, but we’ll be keeping our eyes out for the announcement and share it with you when we know more. In the meantime, stay tuned to us at AllEars!

Updates on the Universal Helios Grand Hotel

The vibe works a little too well.

We already know some information about this hotel. For example, this hotel will be attached to Celestial Park, and we know that guests staying here will be able to enter the park from a special entrance. However, will we be hearing even MORE about this hotel? We guess we’ll find out soon!
